We’ll also perform a quick audience analysis and review your organization’s Instructional Technology needs.Step 2: Instructional Design. Our Instructional Design team will work with your subject matter experts to design engaging and highly interactive elearning customized to address your specific needs.  This may entail traditional WBT or CBT, an advanced online simulation, serious game or blended learning.

Step 3: Multimedia Design. While your elearning scripts are in the works, our multimedia design team will establish the creative vision for your program—incorporating your organization’s unique branding—with a level of sophistication that sets our elearning programs apart from the rest.

Step 4: eLearning Development. Once we’ve gotten your approval on the elearning script and creative vision, our Instructional Technology team will convert them into engaging and interactive elearning that efficiently transfers the required knowledge to your learners.

Step 5: Publish.  The completed courseware will be published to the format required, SCORM or AICC for delivery via a Learning Management System (LMS), HTML for direct access over the web or as an executable for hard copy delivery via CD.

Types of eLearning

  • Web-based training (WBT) / Computer-based training (CBT)
“Traditional” elearning that allows learners to access interactive training anytime, anywhere.  In addition, the training is self-directed so no instructor is required and learners can progress through the content at their own pace.
  • Software Training Simulations
LeanForward’s software training simulations allow end users to see how the application works and even practice performing specific tasks in a simulated environment.  This allows end users to achieve the desired level of competency far more quickly than traditional instructor-led training.  Software training simulations also enable end users to learn how to use the software without corrupting the live application.
  • Online Interpersonal Communications and Process Simulations
Online simulations use advanced instructional technology to simulate real-world challenges.  This allows users to practice complex tasks in a safe and secure environment.  Consider it experiential learning with a techno-twist.
  • Serious Games
Sometimes referred to as “learning games” or “Immersive Learning Simulations” (ILS), serious games teach learners how to handle challenging situations in a fun and engaging manner.
