Dacor is a California-based manufacturer of luxury kitchen appliances. For over three generations, they’ve used a nationwide network of dealers to bring their products to market. Keeping the dealers’ salespeople up-to-speed on Dacor’s ever evolving product line had been difficult and time consuming. Therefore, Dacor desired a more efficient and effective means for educating its dealer network.
LeanForward developed a series of custom interactive elearning programs on Dacor’s products. We also developed a comprehensive elearning courseware template to support Dacor’s internal elearning development efforts. Dacor also licensed our intuitive LearnPoint™ Learning Management System to power “Dacor University.”
Dacor can now provide its dealer network with 24 x 7 x 365 access to interactive online product training and has delivered thousands of training units at a fraction of the cost it would have taken to deliver the knowledge via instructor-led training. The elearning has also verified that dealer personnel have achieved the desired level of product knowledge.
